Bongo Fury

Safe in the Bongo or not

Planning a trip to the Valleys at Easter and Mrs W and kinder Loretta are worried about getting cold.

I don't, cold is natural and I am weird (according to Mrs W)

HAs anyone used them in a bongo or got any input?

This is true, but they also turn into cold things lol

Mrs W likes toasty warm all night no interruptions

I imagine that if this goes ahead I will be the one with cold water bottles to keep me cool

Yes we use an electric blanket, we tried 12 volt ones and found them to have serious quality defects so have now installed an additional power socket in the AFT and use a mains one off the EHU.

We've got an electric overblanket / throw & its brilliant. Stick it over the top of the sleeping bags, set the temp from 1 to 9 & then bake slowly for 7 hours . Ours is single bed size which is just about big enough, although I have considered upgrading to a double. I think I paid about £15 from Tesco, but places like Argos do similar more expensive versions. Folds up small, draws about 100W (I think) & can be put in the washing machine if it gets grubby.
