Hi I have my insurance cover note and it says that my ford freeda is a carvanette, however my log book says motorhome. I went back to the insurance company who say that is what she is recorded as. Is there any difference between a carvanette and a motorhome? I I have googled it but can not seem to get an answer
thanks in advance

Re: carvanette v motorhome
Assume you have a full conversion in your van? If not, then it should not be listed as either. I think my V5 says motorcaravan but I don't think it will matter either way.
Re: carvanette v motorhome
The V5 normally registers Body Type ie Motor Caravan,Tipper etc, it doesn't matter what is inside as long as its not Shergar.
Re: carvanette v motorhome
If it is converted (and sometimes even if it isn't) the "Body Type" description should be "Motorcaravan"
