Bongo Fury

I keep looking at upgrading to HIDs but the law has changed on retro fitted HIDs and basically if you put HIDs in it has to be in A projector lens not a reflector lens thats in my bongo. This is due to the light patterns dazzling people. Some manufactures made reflectors to cut this out.

Does anyone know or fitted a legal HID kit any help be fantastic

So far as I know no seller of aftermarket HIDs is willing to guarantee IN WRITING that their kits are legal.

Or rather I have never seen one.

Scanner's right, but if you see my lights in the LED thread, there are 2 lights per unit...one's a projector, so....it might be worth a try....but I'm quite happy at night with the ???watt KC daylighters

Is HID xenon Legal?

Unfortunately no aftermarket HID kit is strictly road legal as you are changing the lighting system (from halogen to gas discharge) in your car and for this reason the bulbs can't be E marked which is a legal requirement. You also won't have the self leveling and washer systems installed which is also a legal requirement for HID and without these installed the kit would be an MOT failure. HID kits are plug and play so they are easy to remove and replace with standard bulbs come MOT time.
