What can I use to recover the armrest - it looks a bit worn, any ideas?

This depends on skill and what you want.
Leather? Cloth? Vinyl?
Others will have some good ideas.

I did mine in the same grey velour upholstery material that I had my rear seat recovered with. It's tricky to do a neat job without it all bunching up around the corners. If I was in the same position again, I'd just but one of these which is ready made in the correct shape:

Hello I sent for a arm rest cover and a handbrake cover from the site Simon mentioned each one was a very bad fit (well actually rubbish) and the front and back covers were a different shade of grey as was the handbrake cover I complained and got my money back & was told to keep the items, which I still have. I sent for a better item from bongomania.co.uk and the difference was amazing every thing was good quality and was very easy to fit and they were all in the same shade of grey including the cover for the gear selector. They are Bongo enthusiasts and make the armrest cover, the hand brake cover, and the gear selector cover all out of the same piece of leather so it all matches. And I mean proper leather not the thin stuff of the previous item. The moral is you get what you pay for.Cheers Michael

That's a good tip about the Bongo Mania ones:

I do recall now there was one supplier who was doing poor quality stuff and that must the one on eBay.

Hi
I must admit, they really aren't too good a fit, Michael and Derek...a real problem to fit properly
Cheers

The ones from Bongomania are a perfect fit no problem with either of the items armrest cover, handbrake cover or gear selector cover Helen. All top quality and no problem to fit,and they have been on over 3years now and still look as good as new.The Original link Simon put up now that's a different story, just thin leather and a very poor fit and quality and different colour grey for the front lid and the back.As I said just rubbish and as I have still got them just had another look at them and they still look odd and the leather is so thin that if you tried to stretch it then it would tear.Cheers Michael

I got a grey leather one from Fleabay and took it to an upholsterer who charged me a tenner to fit. Total cost £25 and looked Brill. Not sure who it was but go to ebay and look under 'centre console cover'
