Is it leaking? Just asking as mine was cold and it was the flap motor, much simpler fix

Hi
Yes...It was a doo-dah...as for time, I can't estimate, because with various injuries/ problems, I can only work a bit at a time. It's a tedious task, but, obviously, you remove all the heater motor etc. under the bonnet, disconnect the hoses, drop the glovebox, squeeze the sides so the lugs ease past, then it drops out. Remove as much passenger carpet rearwards as you can, remove the end-cap from the heater matrix (passenger side), and unbolt the fixings (there is a bolt high up on the driver's side that's a bit awkward)....then it's a case of levering the whole lot backwards with brute force and ignorance.....If you can find an ignorant brute, it helps
It's not a hard job, but damn' annoying, with the added bonus that your bad language skills will improve no end
Cheers
Helen
