Bongo Fury

Hi all

I am hoping to buy my first bongo as soon as possible but i don't own a vehicle at the moment and therefore don't have any insurance. I have tried to get a quote for temporary cover from a couple of places online but they don't seem to like the details i am submitting.
Can anyone recommend an insurer that would provide me with a few days cover on a bongo? (I am not a club member...yet!)

May seem like a silly question, but why would you need temp insurance in the first place? If you are planning on buying a Bongo to use, wouldn't you be better off getting an annual policy?

It would certainly be way cheaper.

Temp insurance is mega money.

Or do you mean you need full insurance plus add someone on as temp?
As I do with the kids when they wont to use my Bongo for holidays

Seems odd, how are you going to convince the insurance company on the type of Bongo that you are going to get. It is well known that if you buy a Bongo converted to a camper the insurance is cheaper than if you buy an unconverted one. When I bought my Bongo it went straight to the converters who wanted it insured. Since it did not have a registration number at that time it was insured using the Vin number.
