Roof Rack - will it fit?

I need to get a roofrack for my AFT.
Happy to buy from here, but the notes say "These bars fit Auto Free Tops (not new shape)."
How do I know If I've got the 'new shape'?
Year is 2000

New shape came out in 1999. If you look here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_Bongo under Bongo Friendee, the picture on the left is the new shape whereas the two on the right are old shape.

Thanks, looks like I have the newer version, so I take it the racks for sale won't fit

AFT mouldings were the same up to about '01/'02 where they changed to the type with second sunroof and built in rear spoiler. You need to find out what the seller defines as 'new shape'.

You should be alright then. The ones from club shop need the gutter in the roof which yours will have, but the later type like mine does not.
