Beefy Bongo

Has anyone gone the other way from lowering suspension/low profile alloys, and raised it and/or fitted chunky tyres, like some Delica owners do?

Ive often wondered this, I think they would look good with a body lift and big tyres, snorkel up the side etc.

Me too Stu, have to be a suspension lift tho with them being a monocoque

This was my last Bongo which I thought looked quite rugged with a few accessories.

Not sure about making it any higher as the Bongo is already quite narrow and tall which would look quite out of proportion.

Exactly, thats why it's maybe not been done before as its a bit more difficult and expensive I would've thought.
