Bongo Fury

i got my bongo today and had a long run in it but we were boiling! we have the digital heater controls and i have no idea how they work. the temperature says it only goes down to 18 degrees and no lower and we couldn't get the blower to blow cold. i don't expect the air con to work until i've had it topped up but it was weird how we couldn't get it to just blow cold. what am i doing wrong?

Check to see if the linkage as come of the plastic quadrant by the driver foot ..

That one controls the vents that are used, and the single little rod on the Passenger side controls the Heat output;

Without air con, the air will only be as cold as the outside temperature which at the moment is pretty warm. The lowest the controls go down to is 18, but the air from the vents will be much colder when the air con is running.

definitely check out the controls as mentioned which frequently do come adrift.
