navigator kombi help

hi have just bough this from the bongo site what connections do i need to attach it to the side of my bongo, here is a pic of what is above the door that i will be attaching to
also can i use universal canopy pole and if so which would you suggest
im new to "bongoing", so im not upto speed with the tech stuff im a complete novice so any help at all would be great, also can you suggest a carpet?
