Sounds like a warped disc.on renewing the rears was the hub face totally clean prior to new disc fitted cause any rubbish etc can make the new disc not sit flat.but does seem like distortion t

Heating then cold water will potentially casue the metal to crack. Just soak in release oil for 24 hours and try again.

good fitting ring spanner, then another one hooked on to lengthen it, then give the hub threaded end/loop end a good quick clout with a hammer

put it in for the mot to see what was wrong and it pessed with 1 advisory for the hand brake adjustment

it went through the mot yesterday so i insured it and taxed it took it out for its first good run today as it was stood for 2 years and the pedal started bouncing agian

gave it a good run about 15 miles to see what would give / get hot to locate the problem and fix it after about 7 mile no pedle bounce and no knocking sound from pedle/discs run fine no over heating ect carnt get my head round it have i got the worlds first self fixing bongo will give it another run tomorow and see how it gose but so far so good.

Problems may go away for a while but they are not self fixing? For the safety of yourself and all who ride in her, put it in and get it sorted. Kwikfit are reasonable, done in a few hours and will give you a free brake check. Any work guaranteed dispite what anyone may say about them?
Much work I will do my self if I have the time but I use them for all our brake work and we have 4 vehicles in the family!
An MOT pass does not mean nothing is wrong, you know there is! An MOT just means it is roadworthy at the time of test not free from defect!
Please get it checked before you come a cropper!
