I have had a Bongo for 1 week, had a bit of a nightmare with an awning so I binned it!
Any pointers to a good easy to put up awning that's not too expensive?
Thanks

We've destroyed and binned 2 awnings already this year,
a Movelite XL snapped its' fibreglass poles when the winds picked up during the night
and I slept thru it (ear plugs) and a Royal Traveller 3 took so much water on the joining tunnel
section (again while I slept) it snapped the closest fibreglass pole which set off a catastrophic failure of the remaining 2 poles.
I'd love a steel poled awning, but can't stretch to one in one hit...

As I said I found it ok.you only get what you pay for, like all things in life we all find different faults but good luck anyways

We've had a Khyam for five years, never let us down despite some terrible weather.
For shorter breaks we have a couple of Quechua seconds base tents. They do not connect directly to Bongo but we create a canopy with a tarp/figure of eight (that fits snugly on to the Bongo) that gives us a good covered area. The Quechua tents stood up to some horrendous Scottish weather in the past :D

+1 for the Khyam Motordome range. Spent more than I wanted to and not regretted it for a second.

+ +1. Although I had a bit of a job getting one when I was buying.
