OK so 'our freda' has her MOT on Thursday and my garage has already told me that I'll need 4 new tyres.

She's a 4wd bongolow.

Which tyres does my garage get for me?

(sorry there is so much conflicting info when I try 'search'.)

cheers

Hi there ATM my 4WD got 195/70/15 front and 215/65/15 rear, the only fault is you cant swap them around to even the wear. so when the front ones are due I'll change all to match the rears 215/65/15 all round & swap around every 6 months. and try http://www.mytyres.co.uk del in the price!

Thats intersting DAndy, I have trouble with Goodyears GT2, uneven wear on the front. How are yours any sign of the centre tread wearing into a stud formation?

not yet seeker, only a few thousand miles on them, but I do have one of them which is slightly oval - causing a wheel vibe - it's going back to the supplier..............

Thanks for all the advice folks.

I've had Continentals fitted 195 on fronts and 215 on rear.

Drives like a dream and is soooooo quiet..very little/no road noise and no wheel wobble at any speed (including V fast.

cheers

Wise choice Harry, and well worth the money.

Had mine now for 2,000 miles and can't fault them.
