Bongo Fury

hello all,

just a quickie, the people who i bought my bongo from fitted a whatsit so the radio/cd player,( sure its got a technical name) so i could pick up the radio freq. here, but it sounds like they are broadcasting from a loo!!

any suggestions! the only one i have had is to rip the whole system out and buy another one.....the one in there looks fab though!

last question, will any speakers fit the doors as they sound very tinny and vibrate, so i guess i need a higher wattage....please help

Does it sound ok when you disconect the expander? if not have you taken any of the speaker cables out and mixed them up ie pos+ neg- together, As this will make the sound tinny. also search the forum for speakers there loads m8.

We had to rip out the fantastic motorised 'lit-up-like-a-Christmas-tree' Pioneer stereo as we simply couldn't get a decent signal. Replaced with with a DAB MP3 Sony jobbie - the sound quality isn't as good, but at least we can use the radio. Maybe some frequency expanders are better than others, but we couldn't use it.

I find the speakers aren't too bad really, as JMc suggests may be wiring problem with the standard ones.
