You're all too kind. Or crazy

Some of the original threads got deleted and I reposted them, as a result a few of those links are dead. It's a tedious job as one or two supplementary ideas were slipped in later so Geoff's list isn't necessarily in the right order - which isn't a problem - but it would be good if the functionality of the links were to be restored.

Serious moment here. What mindlessness deletes posts of value like that? Its long been a concern to me that such good stuff gets discarded so easily. What a waste of intellectually valuable stuff. Perhaps we should rebrand this forum Fahrenheit 451

Ah its coming back to me now! Brilliant work Geoff - this collection really should get published. Only one request - lets get Bongo in the title somewhere and promote the legend ;-)

Looks great, thanks!
By the way, I do like the look of the steel majmar. Any idea where to get one of those?

No, I've never seen them anywhere else since. I did an internet search yonks ago and there was a Moroccan supermarket flogging them but even they appear to have gone AWOL now.

I've measured ours up so that a decent sheet-metalworker could knock one up but that's about it.

I've added a few more ideas to the original post in the vegetable section which we trialled last night, and if you delicately barbecue some garlic...

...together with some onion and cherry tomatoes you can create a super, almost healthy, barbecue feast

How about one of these? It's called an Aquaforno.

It looks the business (if a touch expensive).

That does look good but £350.00? #-o

Mind you, I bet you could properly set the Clitheroe wheelie-bins alight with one of those...

Such a nice collection of camping stoves you have. It is one of the most necessary things to take. Otherwise cooking food becomes more complex than it is. Taking a camping stove is also safe. It doesn't end up setting fire to the jungle or the camping site. Here you can browse for camping stove and other camping gear.
