ask them to check the egr solenoids on the driverside chassis leg under the drivers seat,or the egr valve itself, or the turbo wastegate.

the egr switches are under the drivers seat on the chassis rail. if the solenoids fail it leaves the egr valve in the wrong position (it has a position sensor on it) this tells the ecu its faulty so goes into limp mode via the ecu/turbo. if you fix the solenoid it will clear the egr fault and restore your turbo.-----------------------------------------------maybe
