Hello Bongo friends,
Just in the process of finding a converter for a full side conversion. Ace Campers:
http://www.ace-campers.co.uk/gallery-page-1 are in the running since they can do me a discount as I have already bought some of their products in the past. NMA Cars are just down the road from me as well
http://www.nmacars.co.uk/ so also considering them.
Has anyone had a full conversion from either of these guys? I'd be really grateful to know your opinions if so

I have to check with both whether they can accommodate a slightly wider than standard rock and roll bed.
Thanks as always,
Steve

Steve
Had my van converted by ACE campers 3 years ago. It still looks good after a lot of use, top quality R&R bed, good upholstery. All in all a top job, he would happily get the job if I needed another van doing.
No affiliation etc etc, just a happy bunny.

Ah thanks Chris, hoping someone would get back to me
I'm still thinking of using Ace Campers, they've always been very responsive to my questions. It's a real shame that they can't really cater for the wider bed I want.
Would love love to see any photos you have of yours if available

Just a heads up that I have gone with NMA Cars. Neil the owner must have spent close to hour and half talking about the conversion! Should be a 4 week turnaround which I'm really happy with

We did a bit of trade work for nma a few years ago. Neil is a nice guy, so you should be looked after.....sorry we couldnt fit you in earlier ourselves, but it does get busy this time of year.

No probs Ed!
Neil is a top bloke, he must have spent at around 1 and half hours talking me through conversions. I'm already booked in but and am going back down there again tomorrow with more questions
Strangely enough I have requested that they add more insulation in the flooring and side panels. Neil's receptionist told me that the insulation is formed from the hardboard flooring and vinyl. I was a little skeptical how much insulation that provides so I referred to the 'flooring' guide you made a while back i.e. adding the foam underlay. I also pointed them to your old website:
http://www.celticmotorhomes.com/Full-Si ... ersion.php and how you add Thermawrap to the side panels.
Hopefully they can accommodate
