Willinton kit & 110Ah leisure battery

Post by Nippon Tuck » Wed Jun 26, 2013 4:00 pm

Hello

I have a 110Amp leisure battery and the Willinton kit.
I have had some problems with the kit and only just noticed that the willinton ebay page says 100Amp

Does this mean it is only suitable up to 100ah?

No, lots of people have used the kit with over 100A. I think somebody managed to fit a much bigger battery on the tray and is using that with no problems. The rating is to do with the charging amps which unless you have a really dead battery will never get anywhere near the rating of the Willington kit.

Your battery is 110 AmpHour capacity the Willinton relay is rated at 100 Amps, note the difference in units!! You are comparing Apples and Oranges!

I wouldn't imagine so - he's right. AH and A are not the same thing at all.
