Is it possible to use aftermarket electric window switches ? Available on ebay for a fraction of the original cost.
Has anyone done this and how hard is it ?

Did you mean non specific Bongo switches....? If so, this may help..?

Yes my switch is definitely broke, local Bongoer lent me his switch to try and all working ok all i need now is a new switch.

Yep, just been checking out variations on switches on eBay & there are still a couple of cheaper options to be had..?!!
Still a bit of a gamble on a used variation on the part, but mines still going strong after about 4/5 years since replacement? The mechanics & design of em are slightly sturdier too I think...
You will need one of these to interface...
