Got stopped by the police the other day for no headlights, had no idea I had been driving around with my fog lights for 18 months
Anyway I thought how hard can it be to change the headlight bulb, I read the factsheet which I quote -
"Unclip it and the rest is
easier to do than describe"
The passenger side the clip flew off and as hard as I tried I could not get it back on  So phoned a pal who said take off the drivers side and see how that one holds the bulb in. Could I get the connection off the back of the bulb "Could I hell" !!! So another phone call to friend and a 5 mile drive to get him to sort it out.
Made me feel a bit better that he too had trouble getting this clip on and the connection off the back of the bulb on drivers side.
So moral of this story is - If you read the fact sheets and someone says "It's easy 5 minute job" Not only are they a fully qualified mechanic - unlike myself who rarely looks at an engine, or they are doing these fact sheets to tease us less knowledgable peeps

Oh and I almost forgot - my bonnet stay broke, so the bonnet cracked me on the back of the nogging which was kinda fun "NOT"......

Yes the headlight bulbs are similar to most standard cars so the clip in arrangement etc is the same. Not sure why you had so much trouble. The sticky connection was probably due to a bit of corrosion.

Bongo headlight bulb changes are easy...... try some of these modern cars....removing bumpers, air boxes, moving fuse boxes and that is just to get to the rear of the headlights. Some are complicated 2 clip efforts, while some are an interference fit.... such fun

Does sound easy compared to wan Audi a2 had to drop the headlight out to change those. My ibiza apparently needs bumper removing let's hope I don't get a bulb out. Anyone upgraded the sidelights to led type in a bongo.?
