Flip up stove sink

Hi has anyone seen a side conversion where the sink cooker area flips upwards to give more bed space seems like a cool idea but not entirely sure how it works what with gas and water? saw one on ebay but picture not very clear, thoughts please

Ha! - Quite a nice idea! - I imagine he will have used rubber gas pipes (same as the one that goes to the gas bottle) so no problems there, and the same for the water. Can't see it being an issue.

Someone likes power hookup and drain plugs - THREE access ports on the side of the van! :-)

Now that's what I want, a fold-down would be perfect. Who makes them?? Any limks?

The flip stove/ sink was done by Caravan supplies of Mexborough Yorks

Yup, mailed the Bongo seller on ebay to find out. It's a custom job, ask for Stan: cost unknown, but part of a £2650 conversion.

Shame they're not near me..

That's not rocket science to make your self, get a few good pictures and if you cant do it get a local kitchen fitter on the job.

First step is to source that nice, narrow sink/hob unit. Any clues, anyone?

Just put a hinge on the surface the hob/sink unit is housed in. Th gas pipe from the bottle will be flexible - just leave enough slack. and dont forget to make sure the sink is empty at bed time :lol: :lol:
