Front Droplinks

I know there is much talk on the forum about droplinks but is it really acceptable for a new pair to last only twelve months and 6000 miles. Just failed the MOT on these, same as last year.

Most of my driving is on good roads and I'm pretty careful with speed humps so what's the reason?

Depends on the quality or if they are pattern/Vectra drop links.... my Blueprint ones are now 3 yrs old... through 3 MOT...might cost more but worth it.
Round here in underfunded Cambridgeshire....the roads are rubbish...all need resurfacing and as bad as rural Ireland but the Blueprint ones are fine

Sounds a bit odd to me unless they were obviously clonky or rubber obviously perished. On what grounds were they failed? My last set of vectra ones lasted nearly 5 years, from memory.
