Looking back at it a week later, I can't believe our luck with the weather. Sure, it was a bit windy, but it didn't rain, and there was no sign of the dreaded midge. Here's a few snaps from an excellent weekend.

These camping pods (or "Wigwams" as they were called) are obviously the future of camping. No faffing around with your awning in the wind. Plus they come equipped with a kettle and a (relatively) happy missus!

Brandy had a comfortable nights sleep for a change.

The beach, with the Torridon range capped in snow, was the best bit!

Apart from the social aspect ofcourse!

On the way to Red Point, Henderson asked to stop for a photo opportunity

And when we got there he played on the deserted beach with his best friend Ellie.
