diesel leak

hi can any one help my bongo has a leak had it in to a garage and he said it is a diesel leak and its coming from the pump can any one fix it or give me addvice how to do it but i am not good with a spanner.i live in cleethorpes n,e lincs

Did the garage say where on the pump its leaking ? Dome seals can be done without removing the pump but internal leaks require pump removal.

no didnt say .they dont no alot about bongos as i took it in thir for oil and filter change and the took out the full drivers seat .to get to it . :cry:

would i be able to see the leak from under the drivers seat as i carnt get under it with it have a body kit on

Factsheet here: http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/member ... elpump.pdf. I would take to a more Bongo-savvy garage to have any work done on the injector pump as it can be expensive to repair if not looked after.

had a good look under drivers seat and all looks dry then looked under passanger seat that looks all dry as well .thir is a drip in the floor pan it is yellow type colour and feels like oil. so still no wiser
