I use the hard yellow plastic ones. I haven't had many break that I can recall.

Hi
We've broken / bent all of 'em...no matter what!....except these:

They'll drive into anything, with a club hammer!
Cheers

You want to look to for 'rock pegs'. I use these - same as Helen's but cheaper & glow in the dark:

If you're anywhere near Newbury this weekend, pay a visit to the motorhome show & you can pick them up individually or in packs.

Hi
Excellent, Simon...I've seen those...are they any good at glowing?....I've seen luminous guy lines somewhere, too!
Cheers

They're great when you're drunk. You can actually see what you are falling over.

Make sure you have some proper means like a peg puller of getting rock pegs out as once in they can be little tinkers to get out.

They do actually glow surprisingly well. Only thing you have to watch is not to whack the plastic bit with the mallet as they do tend to break when abused.

nip along to your nearest sports direct they are currently knocking out rock pegs £2.50 for 4. I used them on hard core surface and they are excellent

Yep, mole grips work well too. Could always hitch 'em up to the Bongo and drag them out.

Hi
Never had any problems, and we use a 4-pound hammer on 'em...still got around 30 of them, but broke 4-6 over the years...I just used to buy a couple of packs when they were on offer

...but I'll look out for the Glow-worm model!!!...I wish I could remember where the glow-in-the-dark guy lines came from!...
Cheers

We use these, 10p each from a local army surplus store. Never bent one yet

Hi
Muz...
Now, they're ideal!!!...We have dogs to contend with, though, and one would certainly manage to injure herself on those...but excellent stuff if you don't have animals!!!!
Cheers

BALLS!!
We use tennis balls with a crafty slit in them to protect poochs' feet, kids' ankles and anyone who's drunk rather too much wobble-water
