A pal of mine had one in his Transit van,seemed to work well although his van was very well insulated.

I've not got one in the van but do have one installed in our hallway - I'm afraid to say it does little to no good and the hallway is smaller than the Bongo!

Let us know if it does work better than the one I got!

There more for preventing frost forming then actual heating, but it may be adequate, we use the Argos one;
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... 152291.htm which is 450W which is fine even when camping in snow.

We also use the one g8hde uses and it's great - toasty warm!

If I only had 60 watts, I'd direct it to an electric blanket - not nearly enough power to heat a substantial space I think. :-(

The vans getting padded out this weekend all being dry to keep the heat in, I just needed the chill of the air. I do have a 12v throw too...
I'm used to a tent in winter with no electric.... Roll in 3 weeks time.. No sleeping on the floor for me :wink:
