Drivers side mirror not folding

My drivers side electric mirror has stopped folding, looked through the search option and have had a quick look at wiring going to door and can't see anything obvious. The mirror adjustment is still working. I did disable the reversing beeper by cutting red grey wire going to blue relay, would that be related. My next step is to take off door card and trace out wiring when off next weekend, any advice on what to be looking out for. Cheers Rob

The beep disconnection is not connected...
Do you still get a noise from the mirror fold motor?? If not then its the loom in the door.. Try where it comes through the grommet in the wing the wires can break there too...

I've known the wires in the loom though broken still touching under the sheath on the grommet in the wing..
I could be that when you were possibly fumbling behind the kick plate in the footwell this broken loom was disturbed?
Though a fiddly job there is/should be just enough slack to solder....
Prepare to find more broken wires too!!
