Hear hear Beefy!
Really enjoyed our first Meet..... especially as we've now had
warm baths and all parts are thawed!!
Was remarkable sight at The Royal oak seeing 20 or more Bongos... and no two the same.
It was particularly good to meet some fellow Bongo owners... we've seen loads driving
around and now we know you're all real people!!
Good to put some faces to names as you said and very happy to endorse thanks to Mary for her efforts

Fantastic weekend. It was wonderful to go camping again at last. Setthorns was very pricey for no facilities but we couldn't have coped without the leccy!
Still finding all those leaves EVERYWHERE!!!!!
Thank you to Mary for taking over the organising. It was a lovely pub and such a shame I couldn't drink.

Re: NEW FOREST MEET
Thank you everyone for your compliments. It certainly went "alright on the night". The weather stayed dry, the pug food was good and we had a great turnout. My photos are up on Mazda Bongo on facebook, although there are far better ones here. I will have another go at Photobucket and see if I can get them up here.
My excuse for my very muddy Bongo is that I nearly got stuck in a good old new forest bog in the pitch dark at Setthorns, a couple of days earlier. Its a beautiful eco campsite, but in a dark February I wish they had put up some direction signs. Looking for our campsite I took the most obvious route which turned out to be a disused railway line Ooops. At least the Bongo got out of the mud and there was no train to join in the fun.
The Royal Oak is a great place for a meet, so we just need another excuse! Total attended 26 Bongos plus 2 Bongones.

Re: NEW FOREST MEET
Hi to all those we spoke to at the New Forest Inn.
I was aware of the bongo meet on the forum, but was already booked in to a B&B(gasps!!) near Lyndhurst for the weekend
and only came up when stopped by an enthusiastic local Bongo owner who flashed me down and cried `there all up the road `as i was doing a u-turn in the middle of Beaulie.
Really enjoyed meeting those we spoke to, many who like me have are newcomers to the Bongo and still cutting our teeth on
problems, gas leaks and conversion choices.
Will take at least several meets to remember names, but already looking forward to next time.
