Re: Forth Bridge meet
Hi
Yes it was fun. I was stupidly excited about the fact that they stopped the bridge traffic for us
Nice to catch up with everyone, even if it was only for a short while.
Well done to Dunslair and the Laird for organising everything.

It did seem to be over very quickly - sorry not to see you for longer... have to meet up at a campsite somewhere soon.
I was stupidly excited too - made me chuckle when we got to take this one...

Re: Forth Bridge meet
hi all.
had a brilliant time. will add pics later on.
just wanted to come on just now to say thanks to everyone who was there. i was so glad to meet some people face-to-face and have a lovely chat. come away with so many ideas and plans for the bongo.
also thanks to gordon and david for arranging everything and for jim and his friend (sorry, never caught your name) for the fantastic music. me and my dad had a great time. (my dad loved singing along with your choice of songs, they were perfect for him).
thanks again to everybody. hope to see you again some time. until then, see you around the forum.

Re: Forth Bridge meet
Correction: It should be 29 Bongos + one hitch hiker. I left my Jeep in the car park and thumbed a ride with Mulshy. I was disapointed that my old Bongo did not turn up at the meet as the new owners do no live very far away. Dunslair gave it to me it in the neck, saying that it was my fault that we did not reach the magic number of 30 Bongos.

Re: Forth Bridge meet
I wish I could of made it the 30th, but the MOT ran out yesterday, and I didn't want to risk it.
Well done to "Dunslair","the laird", and anyone else who helped in organising the day.
