Hi I'm going to fit parking sensors and would love to know how to disable the reverse beeper. I have searched but said topic not found any help will be much appreciated cheers rob

Break the Red with Yellow striped wire running into the Sound Warning System module, its on pin F of the connector;

Cheers for that. The sounder is in drivers side footwell?

I Added this to another thread a few weeks ago :

"Just to confirm for anyone else who hates the reversing beep from under the drivers footwell, the following DOES work as I've just done it on my 96 'N' reg :
Quote "Hi,if you only want to stop the reversing bleeper,remove the red wire with the yellow tracer (ON THE PLUG)"!

Soooooo.....remove the panel by the drivers right foot, look for a large blue multi connector ( was on my '96 model! ) then find the red wire with a yellow tracer/strip. Cut this wire & the reverse beep is silenced forever .... AFT, lights on, keys in ignition etc still make beeping sound!
