Fitted some led's to the side door to improve lighting, and also in the tailgate. Nice easy job but big improvements. Also sorted the dvd player out that was already fitted. It was fitted too far forward so when the kids were watching it on the move it was in the way a bit when driving, so dismantled it removed the washers that stopped it turning so it now rotates 180. I then refitted it back to front so the screen now drops at the rear above the centre console. The remote control works in the mirror.
In the process of making roof bars, so will post some pics of those soon.

They were already in the van, but I'm sure the lad said Asda. They fit well, just need to angle them a bit when you slide them out.

I like the led's,how are they wired up? Also, what is the green light in the roof lining?

The rear one is just wired up straight to the interior light up in the back left hand corner. Very easy just check with a meter which ones live with the light on. The side door wired into a constant live from the leisure battery and to the door switch for the side door also very easy. The green light in the head lining is a switch to power the dvd unit. Probably doesnt need it but it is handy just to switch it off completely.

Thought you'd be along shortly Dave, as soon as LED was mentioned. I take all my inspiration from you. I wouldnt of started if I hadn't seen your van at Silverdale. Is that meet still on? never saw it advertised last year. Or was I not invited back. Promise I won't turn up with broccoli again.
