Anyone fitted or know of anyone who has fitted head lamp washers?

Or... If anyone could suggest a compatible unit?

Thanks

Phil

I think you could do this quite easily, just take a junction off the washer pipe, find 2 suitable washer jets from a scrapper, drill the bumper and I think that should work. No doubt someone will be along to suggest a better but more expensive option.

Proper headlamp washers use a higher pressure pump (sometimes heated) as it needs to be able to blast the dirt off as there are no wiper blades to do the work. I think if you added two additional jets to the front windscreen circuit you will effectively half the flow which will do nothing for the headlamps and will reduce the performance of the windscreen washers.

Hi
Absolutely right, Simon
The rally cars used to use fuel pumps...NICE high pressure, and with a decent gallon container, you're quids in!
Cheers

I was concerned that the new MOT test would pull up that there were no washers on the HID lights....... but no, so will just stick with the arangement as is.
