Heater resistor

Hi my heater resistor has packed in. looking on web there are two air con and climate control. my control is the push button digital display type is that the climate control type? And are they difficult to fit? thanks

its not a resistor its a transistor

They are commonly referred to as 'resistor packs' regardless of what is inside the box. The manual control version is fairly easy to fix with a soldering iron, but I've not attempted the digital control version. There are a few on ebay, but unless they specifically say suitable for digital controls, then safe to assume they're not. You can order them from all the usual Bongo suppliers and many Mazda dealers.

That's the correct one that bigboy requires :), you don't come across those as readily as the manual type.

Hi guys thanks for the tips my old fella now thinks he can fix it been looking today to remove it but cant see for looking aclue to its location please. :?:
