See you there. I'm an ex bongoer and we're the mad nutters who appreciate and love the bongo's but have moved on for one reason or another.. known as bongone's :)

I'll be there in a big fat white whale.. known as a motorhome

Look forward to meeting you!.... tho' how we'll know a bongo-friendly white whale from the others?
we're a white over silver AFT with rear-conversion.
Anyone know how many Bongos(and Bongones!!) 'll be at Setthorns and then at The Royal Oak?

This is the problem with the big fat Whale. All motorhomes look the same unlike the uniqueness of the bongo.

I'll come and introduce myself.. I talk to everyone and anyone who has a bongo :)

Will tell you all about the "catflap" too if you've not heard about it. Great invention from my other half that makes access into the roof much easier :)

You definitely need a Bongone sticker for this one Cat. :D :D Plus with the size of the whale you could get quite a few pink hibiscus flowers or similar on these acres of space.

Not so much spare on a Bongo although I am thinking of silver hibiscus flowers on bonnet and tailgate to go with the green and silver theme. Quite a bit more silver since you saw it last. Sidesteps and chrome grill.

Go for it Mary! The flowers would look great on the green :) I think it's all the flowers that I miss. Not sure I'll get away with huge flowers on this one, think Chris would go mad!

I'll put an umbongo picture on the back and front window so you can find me

We've got an Autoquest Eldis 180.. you've seen the pics on facebook, so you'll find me ok I think. I may have to put just ONE flower on the back

Thank you... and likewise... I just hope we can manage the excitement of
seeing a (insert collective noun here) of bongos... such is the reaction at
seeing a lone bongo passing on the road or even parked up!!
will we grow out of it?

You never grow out of it even when you've sold them :) I still wave furiously at any bongo I see. They've got to be the best vehicles ever!

Greetings from 'the new kid on the block'
I haven't got a profile yet, but I do have a Bongo!
I picked it up mid December. Very exciting, and stacks to learn from you guys.
My name is Sheila, my partner is Neil and he's trying to get his head round how everything works.

So we'd love to join you guys at The Royal Oak on the 24th

We can't come down to camp the night before, but may just stay over on Sunday night.

See you there
Sheila

As Jilly says you will be most welcome. Its a lovely pub and they do food up till 6 in the afternoon. Really pleased to see some new Bongo owners to add to the roll call.

There is no camping at the pub but there are good campsites all around, so you would have no trouble staying the night.

I've had Vic & Mary (from Gosport) on the phone. They were wondering if it's advisable to book ahead for a Sunday lunch, especially as there may be a lot of people turning up.........
