Bongo Fury

My rear springs are way too soft and bottom out even with the van unloaded over the speed bumps around here what springs will fit any ideasI thought discovery springs might do the job but that doesn't seem to be the case unless I am mistaken.? I have had spring savers fitted and this helped but still isn't enough.

A popular solution is to fit 'air spring assisters' often incorrectly referred to air suspension. Kit usually costs about £100. Some more info here:

Is there such a thing as progressive springs for cars, just wondering?

I fitted air assistors to my bongo due to bottoming out problems, speed bumps etc, really makes a difference, you can adjust the pressure in each spring i.e if you have a side conversion leveling the van is no problem cost me £99 plus postage

Maybe need to change your rear shocks

Yes...you do have progressive springs for cars...I have tried many places for variable rate springs for a Bongo, but no luck. In times gone by, a trip to a knowledgeable blacksmith could get your springs re-worked, but they are hard to find now! You can get progressive springs for some cars, and they can be either a single spring, or dual setup....They are particularly good off-road, and absolutely ESSENTIAL for Tescos car-park, when coupled with air-locking diffs, as it seems a very popular venue for 4x4s

Got Hagon ones in the front forks of my bike, made a huge difference. saving up for the back now but the OEM ones are progressive just not damped as well as they could be. There must be an equivalent out there somewhere. I might be wrong but they might make the ride height ab it lower due to the softer bottom section, but would need to be chosen with great care I would think.
