Hi folks mine seem to have seized, as well as the sliders missing, is it much of a job to change the control panel in the space under the rear offside window, does anyone know is there a fact sheet or info on it anywhere. Havent seen any for sale anywhere so before I take the plunge and buy one I need to know if it can in fact be changed. Thanks.

Hi Dave,

I've been in there & done that a couple of years back....

Not a lot can really go wrong with the mechanical side of the actual controller...??

But, depending on which slider has seized it could be the flap that has jammed in the unit.... Like maybe the unnamed heat temp control flap over the part number 61-A09???? Or something jamming the spigot mover control for said heat flap?? Part 61-A20. & not giving the controller full movement....?

#-o Having said all that.... To remove the controller its just a question of removing the pocket trim, two screws on the controller underneath the trim to the panel, unclip the connector to the fan control, then disconnect the two bike brake like cables to the spigot assembly to the heater flap & air direction flap.... It might be easier to remove the side panel to do this. But you can poke the controller through the hole to remove the trim first.... http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... mgno=.html
