Hi Laird.

We'll probably be at the red squirrel (I think a camp fire might be needed as the evenings are getting a bit chilly now :P ) but we'll be traveling back on Sunday. Perhaps we'll pass you on your way up.

Have a good trip, I hope the weather holds for you.

Sara

Lucky people!

I've got my first Cub Camp this weekend. Will be relying on fire and hot drinks to get us through, as it could get down towards 0 early on Saturday morning.

See you up there again in October, with any luck.

Matt.

We've been keeping an eye on the forecast all week and it is looking good for the weekend \:D/

We're heading to Inveroran for a wild camp and being a bank holiday weekend in Glasgow it may well be a wild one

Parked right outside the bar of the Inveroran Hotel. How very appropriate. =D> You should get plenty of practice for dragging me back to Red Squirrel Campsite from the bar of the Clachaig Inn in two weeks time.

Aaah,
the Squirrel and the Clachaig, good memories there Tony although I normally just fell out the door into the field only to wake up with near hypothermmia!

Hoping to head up to Fort Bill this winter to do my winter ML assessment and looking forward to using the Bongo as a base rather than my old T2.

Stay safe on the hills matey, a wee bit of snow already up Aonach Mor.

Hope you had a good time Matt.

Glencoe was great but very chilly, frost on the grass, ice on the tent Sat morning.

I've left Donald up a hill with a mate who came up to meet us and I'm back home with all the smelly camping gear :(

See you in two weeks.

Sara

Glad you had good time.

Weather held up for us, and we got a cracking view of the space debris breaking up on Friday night. After a pretty sound sleep on the first night, I sprang into action upon hearing a tent zip and the pitter-patter-crunch of little feet on frosty grass at 5:30am. Cubs seem to love watching fire, and just as well! Can't wait until the next camp!! :D :D :D :D :D

We called our van "Stuff the Bongo", and that's precisely what I did on Friday - to the rafters! I now have to "Un-Stuff" it - boo! Perfect size for all the kit, though. :D 8)

Nope, not me. I was cooking bacon over the fire, and teaching kids to peel spuds. ;)
