Hi there,
Picking up my 1st Bongo later today. Been getting a few bits and also found out that the guy who does the amazing leisure battery kit lives round the corner from me, bonus!

I have come across someone in Bristol selling a used removable kitchen. Fits behind the rear seats with pumped sink, dual burner, two cupboards at the bottom with water tank and waste, gas bottle.

The guy said he wants about £350 for it. Its in pretty good nick. Does this sound reasonable? How much are they new?

Not sure that the one here is removable, but should give you an idea of price if it's similar to what you are looking at http://www.clearcutconversions.co.uk/co ... ervan.html

Do you have bench seat in the rear or a pair of flp up ones? If the latter, then I think this should fit and he's only up the road in Bath.

Other than that, £350 for the one you've seen sounds a fair price if it's all in good working order.

Thanks, I'm watching that one. Looks a little bit scruffy, but will do the job.

I emailed another guy who was selling his Bongo and in his listing he said that he had a new kitchen unit, which he paid £430 for. I messaged him to ask where he got it, as that seemed like a good price, he sent me this link:

That makes £350 for a used one seem quite a lot.

That's from Kevin at Southern Bongos. He makes some quite nice conversions at reasonable prices.
