Hi,
Radiator is leaking. Fortunately the alarm saved the day. Has anyone replaced their radiator with one of these?

Are they OK?
Thanks for any advice. Julie

not bought one from this seller but ive fit a few. it looks like a mazda one and with a 2 year warranty so it should be fine.
if fitting it yourself you will need to bleed the coolant system so be aware of the pitfalls. if your old rad was leaking at the top drivers side you may need to fit a gen mazda stat at the same time.
check the gearbox oil pipe connectors at the bottom of the rad are tight too.

Thank you Northern Bongolow.
No I'm not fitting it, it's going to the garage to be fitted. My husband asked me to order it, but thought it was worthwhile asking on here first.
The rest of what you advise is to techy for me, lol, I'm sure when we got recovered last weekend it was leaking from the top somewhere.....I didn't get involved to be honest and I just carried on reading my book, haha.
Thanks again, Julie

My old rad blew, and my friendly Bongo man fitted one of these. So far, no problems, but I did ask him to fit a genuine Mazda thermostat at the same time.
He charged me £150, fitted, bled etc. Fine by me.

Since you are in Bury, might be worth seeing if Adrian at Japan Direct could source and fit it, if you are not already fixed up. He bettered the price I found for parts when he did work for me, and it takes the stress out of sourcing and ordering.

Suspected you would be but wanted to make sure. Yes he's good isn't he (I think some imagine I'm on commission but I'm not - just like to see a treasure kept busy with steady work, something the government seems to struggle with

)
