I believe that the light can be illuminated by either the oil level sensor
or the oil pressure sensor.
For me, a level less than half an inch above the low mark would trigger the light only when going round a corner, or alternatively, would turn off when going round a corner the other way. I forget which way was which...
I think I read somewhere that a level half down the dipstick would trigger. Your mileage may vary...?

It would possibly cause a flicker of the light on a steep incline facing up too..?!!

18-501 is the pressure switch.
10-7301 is the level switch.

Hi
Thanks for that...The107301 is the baby...The pressure switch I'm not concerned with, as I'm "remote-ing" that , and I couldn't see the oil level switch....(can't get under the Bongo)
That little bit of info gives me some good scope for yet another gismo
Cheers
