Rear body exits

Hi everyone.
Does anyone know of any holes/exits through the rear bodywork of the Bongo?
Preferably on the offside.
I'm looking to mount an external hookup socket behind the rear bumper.

Cheers

Paul.

Hi Paul,

As promised. (Via text.) you could try here? found a pic!

Image

The white vent into the body panel behind the bumper that vents into the boot space in the back..?
It kind of channels up....?!!

I'm sure plenty of other ideas will come along...! [-o<

Interesting, is that vent on both sides? I want to run a waste out rather than have the storage tank inside (but it's on the near side) cheers

Thanks again to Jaylees pic of the rear body exit behind the bumper, my next query is how to remove the very rear drivers side panel and is there access to said vent?
I've had a poke around removing the cubby/ ashtray holder but don't want to break anything!

Thanks guys

Paul

Hi Paul,

The front most panel overlaps the rear, so you will need to loosen that first.. http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... mgno=.html

If its possible to roll the rear seat as far forward as possible.. (I know you have reversed seats, but not sure if this would help.?)
Seatbelt bolt needs undoing at the back too & the floor strip over the tailgate catch... You may only need to prise the panel out from the tailgate rubber to see what's behind..?

Personally, i'd leave it all in place & try to poke some stiff wire up from outside (like that roll of black stuff you have in your box..?) & reach down through the cubby hole hole... Those fasteners have a habit of breaking or getting lost..!
