I know that you can't travel via the Chunnel when converted to LPG, but what about ferries? Has anyone had any problems?

Should be no problem. You see loads of motorhomes, caravans and all the LPG vehicles that cant use the tunnel.

The LPG powered (even if gas turned off and running on petrol) vehicle ban is a regulation that only applies to the tunnel.

You can travel on ferries but I'm not sure if they require LPG to be turned off and petrol used as fuel.

However as they don't even ask what fuel is used I don't think they are bothered, a ferry car deck is a far better ventilated space than a Eurotunnel train.
