New/2nd hand rack fitted today to fix leaks and knocking. Fitted by my colleagues at work so big thanks to them. The Bongo now drives nice again, steering is tighter and more precise. Still got a slight knock but suspect osf drop link. I fitted 2 new drop links about 14 months ago, is it possible they would go this quick. OSF top rubber seal on drop link split slightly.

gen mazda ones are really good. or ask ian at the bongo shop for the good ones, he will know what you mean. these are half the price of mazda ones, and last very well.
lots of work was done on these by kirsty and ian.

I have fitted Vectra (1995) links on my van about two years ago and they are still going strong. I live in deepest Cornwall and nearly every road around here is lumps, bumps and potholes at every turn so they have had a good test. Was under the van a couple of weeks ago having a look around and checked out the links.....no play, no splits, still in very good condition. I paid under £20 for the pair from my local motor factors. We all have a budget to work with and if you can afford to buy the genuine Mazda product then why not, but in my view the Vectra ones are great value and have done the job with no problems.

Ditto here, and I agree. Ideally buy from a motor factors that supplies local garages, as they should have identified best sources.

Fitted the drop links yesterday, on the drive with a set of ramps, very easy about 20 mins per side. Last time I had use of a 2 post lift and I think it took longer.

I cannot believe it was them making so much noise after just a year on the car. It drives like new again.
When i took them off the joints were looser than a geordie lass in the Bigg market.(am I allowed to say that?)
