Hi, Just thought I would add that I have also accomplished the earth thing, with some fiddling. I checked that this would work by using jump leads across the connection from tank to chassis. Thanks Bongo Fury! Dave

I take it from your site name that you have an XJR1300. I also have an XJR1300, mine's in the best colour (yellow). Do you frequent the XJR owners club forum?

likewise I have fixed the fuel guage using the advice on here. I could have bought a kit off e-bay for £14.99 + P & P.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mazda-bongo-r ... 35bc8a42b5

Beware the seller says "pat pending and we have intellectual property rights by purchasing the item you agree not to copy distribute or in any way resell the concept or product in any form."

Glad to hear of your cheap fixes. The spiel of the seller on ebay just goes to show his character. Fix has been in the public domain for a long while, so goodness knows how he will patent it, even supposing it could be patented.
http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... it#p549670. It should be noted that his price has risen 70% since first listing a couple of weeks ago.
