Hi,

So first problems encountered with the relatively new purchase!

I changed the rocker cover gasket this eve and noticed the black depsoits around the front of the block so delved in closer. As I half expected the No:1 Stud has failed. The thread is still visible, just the nut and final bit of threat has broken flush to the manifold. So my question is, have I been sort of lucky? I'm assuming I can just whip off the manifold, nip a couple of nuts up on it and remove/replace??

After that I inserted a couple of Allan's EGR blanking plates, unfortunately some ham fisted berk has overtightened the bolt closest to the drivers door and knackered the thread, am I ok to use a larger bolt with a little cutting fluid? The ally looks pretty soft and chuncky in that area.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

Top stuff, I guessed it would be ok but good to seek a more experienced yes!

Thanks,

Matt
