Not really a pimp but posted here anyway

Just cleaned my standard mazda alloys with Halfords alloy wheel cleaner (big white 5 litre container stuff). Probably just as useful as cold water, left more behind than it cleaned off. So decided to sue the 'Car Plan - Wonder wheels' used about a tenth of the other stuff and the wheels cleaned up really well! important to foam up with the brush and leave for a bit though.

Definitely worth paying 'more for less'

What does everyone else use? Was tempted to get the brick detergent out

Yes, that's the same as brick detergent was tempted.

I use it on many things .. like this scooter (previously well rusted) exhaust .. just make sure it is well rinsed off with plenty of water ..

Meguiars Hot Rims.... top stuff.... although..... Showroom Shine is brilliant on Alloys....

did my fronts yesterday and used alloy cleaner, showroom shine type stuff but found the easiest and quickest in the end was t-cut

bit harsh------- why sue carplan, sue halfords.

I use Wonder Wheels as I got a 5L containder of it years ago in Costco for not much money. I use it with the Autoglym wheel brush and it always brings the alloys up nice and clean.

Excellent results, I've got few bits on the trials bike that I'll try that on

I blame the keyboard....................

I use 'muck off', cos i tend to have it around to clean the bikes Works a treat.

I use this stuff works fantastically,Bilberry wheel cleaner, good for the alloys no acid and smells nice too.
