Not been there myself. But if you check out people's locations you will find that one or two members live there.

New Forest Terrier and Crazy Uncle Gray.

:D I got loads.......what do you want from the camp?
A basic great country side or coastal location, local pubs or all singing all dancing type camps
You name it and I'll point you in the right direction

May even pop in with a bottle of wine =D>

Would you be able to recommend something for me.
we hope to be staying for a couple of nights before the august bank holiday. 25th - 26th
we are of simple needs - a bar, obviously. Hook up. maybe an on site restaurant, and a swimming pool for young 'un would be a bonus
many thanks
Tricky

  You seem to have quite an extensive list of simple needs
I have listed in order of preference, the sites that have ALL you have asked for
but on a Bank Holiday weekend in the New Forest it may be a long shot to get in
Good Luck

http://www.hobourne.com/park-details/hobourne-bashley
http://www.shambaholidays.co.uk/our-locations/shamba/

This one, you will have more chance at this late stage of getting on to
but it doesn't have all the facilities you request on site, but they are all
within 10mins walking pubs/food seaside/swimming etc, this camp is basic
but in a superb location http://www.hurstviewleisure. co.uk

Other campsites are available, if you need more help just shout

Not quite the New Forest we anticipated, but i can thoroughly recommend West Fleet Holiday Park
We have been there a few times in past years, but never in a Bongo
This year has just seen the completion of a new toilet / shower block, and a new bar and restaurant building where they serve a delicious steak dinner from their own herd of rare breed cows an site.
At £28 a night with electric it's not cheap, but well worth it in my opinion
