Is it really 4 years since this post... Where have they gone....

Ok Neil it was good while it lasted.....but those nasty local teams have burst the bubble...

I am just glad that I kept quiet while the going was good knowing that it wouldn't last...

It's still early days yet so we shall see at the end of the season if the success was a flash in the pan.

Or maybe Anderton boat lift...?.....large car park...10am-8pm..£2.00 for 3 Hrs...or £3.00 all day...visitor centre open 9.30 am-4.00pm....with cafe, toilets and free exhibition centre for the kids...plus the bonus of seeing the historic boat lift operating.

Any takers for any of these venues and dates...?

Anderton boatlift would make a nice change, but I think it might be a bit too far for Brian, he might get lost.
