Croatia

There are some threads here on Croatia but I am interested in particular if anyone has had any experience of the Istria area of Croatia and of any campsites in that area.
Got the guide books and read the threads but still a bit confused.
I'd love to get some recommendations from experienced Bongonauts please.

I have only been to Split and Dubrovenic ( spelling?) docked at both ports about two years ago
I was very inpressed by the places and the people, I would return no problem.
I am sure some one on the Bedford Cf forum drove to to Croatia, just pop in and ask, Oh heres a link, just sign up and ask him, very friendly bunch

Perhaps dandywarhol has been there. He has been to Croatia quite a few times.
