Hi, All, In the workshop manual there is a picture of a petrol filter but it does not say were it is positiond on the van. So can any of you Bongo nuts could tell me were it is located and to wether the van as to be raised to change it. Thanks in advance John.

Take a look at this site http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/
there is a filter on the pump itself in the fuel tank, but the main filter is here http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... mgno=.html
but its worth looking at all the parts, there are at least 3 diagrams for the fuel piping, pump and filters.

I must admit I haven't located the physical location myself, having a side conversion its difficult without removing the drivers seat to get a decent photo or to work under the partially raised seat.
However I think its offside and behind the rear of the engine, possibly only visible underneath and mounted on the offside panel, but it is only a guess, I've certainly not been able to locate it on the photo's on the nearside, that is taken up with the ignition system and EGR piping as best as I can tell.

On the V6, the fuel filter is under the van. You access it from under the van.
It's on the O/S, in line with the drivers door. It's bolted to the floor with a bracket. It's a round cannister - has a straight pipe on one end, an angled pipe on the other. If you're not sure you've found it, follow the fuel pipes down from under the drivers seat to the filter.
